Support better unit pricing
Unit pricing is the handy tool that helps you find the best value product at the supermarket – it should be able to help you avoid being ripped off at the checkout.
But with specials offering discounts of $0, price tags that don't add up and bulk buying options that don't save you money, it's difficult to compare prices.
The good news is, the government is conducting a review and has asked for feedback on unit pricing issues. Thanks to you, the government has seen hundreds of examples of unit pricing issues in stores around Australia. Now it's up to the government to act and improve unit pricing for everyone.
If you use unit pricing and want to see it bigger, clearer and in more stores, add your name to our petition. We'll keep you posted on the government's response.
