Shocking Energy is Australia’s newest (and fakest) energy retailer. We know that most households are struggling with rising energy costs amidst a cost of living crisis, and our mission is to harness the power of confusion to keep those costs rising.

We’re using all the tricks in the book to make energy needlessly complicated and keep you in the dark about whether you’re actually getting a fair price. We love our convoluted, meaningless plan names so much that we use the same names over, and over, and over again – all with different prices so that comparing offers feels like the world's hardest game of ‘spot the difference’. But hey, at least we’re actually honest about it.
